Telecommunications Architect
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, systems, and servers in a healthcare environment required
- 3-5 years of experience working in a server based VolP/SIP telecommunications environment required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required
- Experience working with advanced UC environments, VoIP Performance Monitoring, QoS, traffic shaping required
- Experience with system management and switch performance/analysis/network monitoring tools and equipment required
- Experience managing and supporting Session Border Controllers and SIP Trunks required
- Experience managing and supporting Avaya IP Telephony and voicemail systems required
- Experience troubleshooting Ethernet and IP networks required
- Knowledge of carrier circuits/routing including of local, long distance, toll free, PRI and SIP required
- Experience with voice circuit provisioning preferred
- Ability to function in a team environment as a telephony subject matter expert required
- Knowledge of call center theory and operations, along with reporting and management tools (Workforce Optimization, Agent & Skill reporting, etc.) preferred
- Experience implementing call flows within an Avaya Aura Contact Center preferred
