Sr. Public Relations Strategist
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism
5 – 8 years of relevant professional work experience required
4 – 6 years’ experience in public relations and communications, including time spent on political or advocacy campaigns required
Health care experience/knowledge a strong plus preferred
Candidate should have knowledge of and/or interest in the health care and policy landscape required
Proven experience building profiles of organizations and its leaders through earned and owned media, including press releases, op-eds, remarks and blog content required
Demonstrated ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced media environment, including unpredictable hours and crisis situations required
Demonstrated ability to manage through influence with professionalism and poise. This position will have direct access to EmblemHealth’s President & CEO and executive leadership required
Ability to build and execute communications strategies, manage projects and build one-on-one relationships with business leaders to implement strategies required
Passionate about mission-driven brands and storytelling required
