Perform Business Resiliency functions responsibilities including IT Disaster Recovery Testing, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reviews, Business Continuity annual lifecycle, project management and data management /analysis. Manage business and/or technology planning, crisis management and program governance activities.  Responsibilities also include developing, maintaining, testing and reporting on assigned Business Resiliency program responsibilities. Prepare weekly scorecard reporting, infrastructure project, IT Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and annual Business Resilience & Disaster Recovery program tracking. Coach and support Technology counterparts and organizations in the development, management, approval, testing, and continuous improvement of recovery plans.
  • Lead the design, development and exercising (testing) of advance arrangements and procedures to ensure the organization can respond to a disaster so that the critical business functions & supporting technology can be resumed within a pre-defined time frame, minimizing the effects of disruption.

  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate BCP/DR related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Liaise with infrastructure teams to identify gaps, set recovery time and recovery point objectives and convey business needs & expectations, while recommending for solutions to infrastructure obstacles and business challenges.

  • Develop and implement reporting / tracking mechanisms and prepare weekly scorecards, infrastructure projects, IT Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and annual Business Resilience & Disaster Recovery program tracking.

  • Communicate with operational business users up to the leadership levels of the company in order to identify business needs, especially as they relate to the enterprise’s ability to function in the aftermath of an emergency/disaster.

  • Assist in the planning, coordination and development of recovery exercises and associated test plans – considering facilities, staff, technology, internal and external dependencies.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an IT related field of study

  • Project management certification

  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification

  • Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery certifications

  • 10 – 12+ years of related professional work experience, in positions of increasing responsibility (R)

  • Proven track record with large scale IT projects and disaster recovery/business continuity processes and projects (R)

  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills with proven ability in identifying and resolving problems, recommending solutions and process improvements; proven technical skills and IT Engineering and/or Operations experience (R)

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to effectively communicate with operational business users up to the leadership levels of the company (R)

  • Experience performing current state analysis, gap analysis and future state analysis documentation (identifying and documenting procedures and process flows) (R)

  • Ability to analyze processes, system data and business requirements and convert them into technical solutions (R)

  • Ability to develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality (R)

  • IT Infrastructure, BC & DR experience; knowledge in disaster avoidance & control strategies (R)

  • High level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (R)

  • Ability to interface with other teams within the IT field such as security, networking and project managers to manage support and/or implementation issues (R)
