Senior Underwriter
- Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance or Business Administration)
- Minimum of four years of Group Health Insurance Underwriting experience is required
- Knowledge of underwriting methodologies required, especially Experience Rating Methodology
- Personal computer expertise (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Access required)
- Attention to detail required
- Strong technical underwriting skills required
- Strong math and analytical skills required
- Ability to make sound logical independent decisions required
- Self motivated with ability to meet multiple deadlines required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities required
- Results-oriented with the ability to function in a fast- paced dynamic environment required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
