Summary of Job

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency; lead small to mid-size projects; assist other project managers on larger, more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.
  • Utilize critical reporting and data analysis to support broker performance and training.
  • Provide support and issue resolution on individual issues for key brokers and onboarding new broker statewide.
  • Create minute meeting notes, process check requests, and track spending.


  • Lead or participate in multiple projects: complete and update project documentation; manage project scope; adjust schedules when necessary; determine daily priorities; ensure efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and
    milestones; follow proper escalation paths; and manage customer and supplier relationships.
  • Create and maintain project schedules: develop project plans and specifications, estimate time and resources, monitor milestone completion, track all phases of project lifecycle, provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinate actions and resolve conflicts; meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by: conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies.
  • Support external brokers & general agents by coordinating trainings on the following topics: individual products, broker portals, scorecard on production & retention results and product alignment for brokers book of business.
  • Provide issue resolution for broker portal issues and combine all SR tickets submitted for follow up and reporting.
  • Partner with external consultant to investigate broker portal issues & make recommendations to bring issues to conclusion.
  • Coordinate with Broker Services, Enrollment, Billing, Customer Experiences, and EHNC to receive and resolve individual issues, and questions asked from brokers and assist with resolution.
  • Develop monthly FAQ’s involving individual issues and monitor individual terminations from brokers by creating a monthly dashboard.
  • Support onboarding of new brokers statewide ensuring they are aligned with process, policy, and training.
  • Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
  • Process Check Request and other departmental fiscal needs (accruals).
  • Track collateral and promotional items spending.
  • Manage marketing material development and tracking.
  • Track event outcome, leads & enrollment.


  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred
  • Project Management Certification (PMI) preferred
  • 4 – 6 years of relevant, professional work experience required
  • 2 – 3 years of sales reporting/analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare provider environment required
  • Additional experience/specialized training may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
  • Experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business required
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) required
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively managing multiple, simultaneous projects required
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines required
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) required
  • Understanding of indices, data and analytical fundamentals, returns level data, etc. required
  • Experience with data analysis – must have proficiency with Sharepoint, Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and updates required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audience required
  • Detail oriented; analytical and problem identification and resolution skills required
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence management decisions required

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. Union roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement will compensate in accordance with the union contract.
