Project Manager, Healthcare Economics

Summary:
- Lead and manage health economics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with internal partners to define project requirements, develop project plans, and manage timelines and budgets.
- Identify and spearhead process improvements within specialty business in partnership with key functional areas.
- Support the day-to-day analytics and reporting functions needed for partners and act as a liaison with P&L leadership teams to understand cost position in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of health economics projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with business partners, internal teams, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain competitive intelligence database for products; partner with P&L leadership teams to define scope, ensure appropriate resource allocation, and estimate ROI on projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout each project lifecycle.
- Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and client requirements.
- Communicate regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget status, and risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, and best practices.
- Provide support to initiatives and/or data management activities for P&L teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or related field required, master’s degree preferred
- 8 – 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a health care environment required
- External/client-facing experience required
- Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions required
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably within the healthcare or health economics field required
- Demonstrated understanding of health economics principles, methodologies, and data analysis techniques required
- Ability to identify and resolve project issues, manage risks, and adapt to changing circumstances required
- Proven project management experience required
- Strong communication, collaboration and operational effectiveness required
- Proactive, positive, and results oriented mid-level leader required
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives on aggressive timelines required
