  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities and deliverables of medium to large projects. 
  • Accountable for project execution from beginning to end: define and manage project scope, identify and delegate tasks responsibilities; develop time-lines to ensure timely completion of projects; monitor and report progress, risks and issues. 
  • Identify resource needs and conflicts. 
  • Handle preparation and compilation of project prese for internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on project management functions, and engage project leadership and key stakeholders through all project phases. 
  • Provide principle coordination of client projects between IT, EPMO and Operations.
  • Oversee the building of BRD and TRD for all planning and monitor the costs associated with the business decisions.
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide up-to-date and candid status updates, as well as ensure visibility and availability of project information is provided to Senior Leadership.
  • Monitor and control project scope and ensure proper change control procedures are followed on all change requests.
  • Identify, assess and monitor risks and make mitigation strategy recommendations.
  • Identify critical resource needs and negotiate with functional managers to secure resource allocation to the project to ensure the projects progresses in accordance with agreed upon scope and timeframes and meet quality control requirements.
  • Maintain and control preparation of all project documentation for internal use as well as for presentations and materials for external clients.
  • Interact with internal and external partners in putting together project details and delivery of completed project data. 
  • Attend external client meetings to facilitate flow of information between all parties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; additional experience/training/certification may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
  • Project Management Certification preferred
  • 5 - 8 years relevant, professional work experience required
  • Proven track record of delivering medium to large projects, preferably in the Health Insurance industry required
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to make data-driven informed decisions based on the data, clients’ experience, research and other inputs; and to guide the project through completion required
  • Ability to build, lead and motivate multiple cross-functional project teams simultaneously & ascertain priorities and risks required
  • Ability to cultivate, maintain, and enhance internal and external working relationships; and to negotiate and facilitate discussions, at all levels of the organization required
  • Time management/organizational skills; ability to develop comprehensive, integrated, and realistic project plans required
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required
  • Ability to facilitate project meetings and joint planning sessions with internal SME’s and AM management required
  • Ability to interface and interact with Clients/Brokers/Consultants, if necessary required
