Provides confidential administrative support and assistance to the department and supports the department in all aspects of daily project operations.. In addition, may perform in person member visits in the community setting such as hospitals in order to introduce Care Management Programs and validate member contact information.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs case building, benefit validation and member telephonic outreach for program enrollment.
  • May perform member visits in community locations such as hospital sites to enroll members in care management programs and validate member contact information.
  • Provides ACD phone management for both incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Provides coverage,  Care Management support and administrative duties for the department  Schedules member appointments with Care managers in outlook.
  • Creates, interprets, reviews, edits and organizes departmental audits, reports and job aids.  Identifies and communicates relevant documents to the appropriate department(s).  Reviews documents for accuracy, completeness and timeliness for submission to the appropriate project committees or work teams.
  • Assists in  the development of program and project plans, tracking and management of projects and departmental activities to schedule and cost.
Qualifications:
  • PC literate and proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, database programs, presentation programs and good typing skills required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Administration and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills required
  • Minimum 0-2 years experience in health care and/or regulatory related environment required
