Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree/Behavioral Health degree

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing may be considered in lieu of clinical degree with additional experience/training

  • New York State MD/Behavioral Health/RN Licensure

  • 12+ years of healthcare experience in positions of increasing complexity and authority

  • 5 + years’ experience managing people and processes (enterprise-wide or in a large division)

  • 5 years of managed care/insurance experience

  • Knowledge of regulations and coverage policy relating to Medicare and Medicaid

  • Knowledge and understanding of regulations and best practices related to Care Management

  • Ability to access, interpret, and synthesize data and information; and to effectively present information to all audiences

  • Effective communications skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, persuasion, negotiations) with all types and levels of audiences

  • Proficiency with MS Office (word processing, database/spreadsheet, presentation) required
