Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or related field preferred
  • (PMI) Project Management certification is preferred
  • 10 - 12 years of related work experience required
  • Experience within a healthcare provider organization preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead team members and manage multiple, results-orientated projects/tasks simultaneously required
  • Working knowledge of program/project management across multiple products and lines of business required
  • Industry level understanding of Medicare, Medicaid & Commercial lines of business and the drivers of priorities/success required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external clients building strong relationships required
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizing, prioritizing, time management and multitasking skills; with the ability to set priorities to meet all deadlines required
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who also knows how to put business plans under the vision, set and deliver on business goals, and measure against goals; ability to ‘connect the dots’ and see how large and small details fit into, and impact, projects required
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (word processing, database/spreadsheet, presentation, org chart/flowchart) required
  • Outstanding work ethic: a willingness to roll up your sleeves and spend time in the field getting to know the company, products, members and patients required
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, presentation), and the ability to articulate clearly and simply to all types and levels of audiences; ability to negotiate and persuade in order to facilitate alignment of stakeholders required
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity that sometimes comes from working cross-functionally and in a change organization required
  • Working knowledge of health insurance products and concepts, as well as how provider practices operate required
  • Experience in managing external vendors required
