Spanish Speaking - Nurse Wellness Coach (remote)
Qualifications:
- Associate’s in nursing; BSN preferred
- Valid RN license (Connecticut, New York license, or Valid RN Compact), depending on which accounts will be managed
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist through ADCES (Preferred)
- Health & Wellness Coach Certification (Required)
- 4 – 6+ years of relevant, professional work experience, including coaching experience (Required)
- Additional experience/specialized training may be considered in lieu of Degree requirement (Required)
- Experience with health coaching across modalities – including face to face, telephonic, digital or a mixture (Required)
- Experience with: health coaching across modalities (face to face, telephonic, digital, etc.); motivational interviewing, active listening skills, Transtheoretical Model, and other evidence-based coaching techniques (Required)
- Ability to facilitate educational sessions, both in person and via technology modalities (Required)
- Bilingual Spanish (Required)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.); online documentation platforms; and remote technology
(Smartphone, wireless laptop, virtual conference tools, etc.) (Required) - Experience with wellness related areas such as stress, weight management, nutrition, physical activity or health lifestyle
behavior change; and facilitating patient/client positive behavioral change (Required) - Effective communications skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal); ability to deliver content in an engaging way (Required)
- Strong prioritizing, time management, organizational, and problem solving skills (Required)
- Willingness and ability to accommodate flexible scheduling, including off shift hours; and travel to worksites, as needed (Required)
