Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, IT, or related; additional related experience/specialized training may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
  • Certification in Analytics & Tableau preferred
  • 3 – 5 years related work experience required
  • Experience in report writing, data analysis; or in a Business Intelligence Analyst role required
  • Experience working in the health care industry preferred
  • Knowledgeable in programming languages, such as SQL, Oracle and Python required
  • Proficiency in math; ability to analyze, model and interpret data required
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple competing deadlines and successfully deliver completed products/projects required
  • Accuracy and attention to detail; critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills using a methodical and logical approach required
  • Tableau certification & experience preferred
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including manipulation and/or mining required
  • Understanding of best practices in presenting and visualizing data in graphical and tabular formats required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
  • Strong teamwork & organization skills preferred

Pay Disclosure

A good faith estimate of the compensation range for individuals hired to work for the EmblemHealth Family of Companies is provided. This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. Union roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement will compensate in accordance with the union contract.
