Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or related field
  • (PMI) Project Management certification preferred.
  • 5 – 8+ years of related work experience, especially in production of print and/or digital materials.
  • Experience working with data, even if only rudimentary.
  • Broad-based business knowledge of the technologies, applications, and processes supporting the development, maintenance, and implementation of communication initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of business and IT strategies.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can set and deliver on business goals; ability to “connect the dots” and see how large and small details fit into, and impact, projects. Ability to quickly digest and navigate unknown, complex concepts.
  • Outstanding attention to detail; organizing, prioritizing, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Self-starter and independent contributor with an outstanding work ethic who can lead teams and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of program/project management across multiple products and lines of business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external clients, building strong relationships.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (word processing, database/spreadsheet, presentation, org chart/flowchart).
  • Knowledgeable in Visio and Project.
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, presentation), and the ability to articulate clearly and simply to all types and levels of audiences; ability to negotiate and persuade to facilitate alignment of stakeholders.
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity that sometimes comes from working cross-functionally and in a changing organization.
  • Industry level understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business; health insurance products and concepts in general.
