National Diabetes Prevention Program Coach (work at home opportunity) - WellSpark Health
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in health-related field (e.g., Health Education, Wellness, Health Promotion).
- Health Coach Certification preferred.
- Must achieve certification as a Lifestyle Coach in the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
- 3 - 5 years of coaching experience. (R)
- Previous experience in diabetes education. (P)
- Experience with providing engaging educational content and health coaching services across multiple modalities–telephonic, digital or a mixture. (R)
- Must be able to effectively deliver content while responding to participants’ questions and other feedback throughout the course of a live session. (R)
- Ability to effectively navigate and utilize multiple systems and points of technology independently. (R)
- Must subscribe to high speed internet service and have reliable WiFi connection. (R)
- Bilingual capabilities. (P)
- Background in motivational interviewing, active listening skills, Transtheoretical Model, mindfulness based, and other evidence-based coaching techniques. (P)
- Experience in wellness related areas (weight management, nutrition, physical activity/health lifestyle behavior change). (R)
- Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavioral change. (R)
- Ability to work hours likely skewed towards later afternoon and evening, time zone dependent. (R)
