Lead Data Science Analyst, Data Analytics
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Data Science, Math, Statistics Computer Science, Actuarial Science or related discipline required; Master’s strongly preferred
- Certification in: Data Science/Machine Learning/Predictive Analytics/AI/Healthcare analysis, or related preferred
- 10+ years’ relevant professional work experience, including 6 years’ experience in building and maintaining enterprise-level analytics and business intelligence solutions, and 2 years performing predictive modeling required
- Expert domain knowledge in the healthcare payer world with experience in using/managing large amounts of disparate data; ability to immediately relate to the business and problems at hand required
- Expertise using statistical tools and programming packages (R, Python, KNIME, SAS Enterprise Miner) required
- Excellent working knowledge of emerging big data technologies, on building data pipelines, and on predictive and machine learning techniques required
- Working knowledge of and experience with Big Data implementations. Knowledge of Apache Spark, Hadoop & related native machine learning libraries, and other specialty modules preferred
- Ability to comfortably tell a story based on analytics and findings to a broad audience required
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) required
- Strong desire to challenge the old ways of doing analytics, and willing to train and mentor others required
