Summary of Position

  • Responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining inventory/assets/materials that support Marketplace Sales field ops. 
     
  • Coordinate with sales teams, mobile units, events, and community partners to ensure that they have the equipment, marketing materials, and fleet-related supplies necessary to operate efficiently and compliantly. 
     
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee distribution and return, and ensure all assets are accounted for, audit-ready, and aligned with organizational standards.
     
  • Serve as the operational link between Marketplace Sales, Marketing/Community Engagement, Fleet, and external vendors creating structure, eliminating material waste, and protecting company resources.


Principal Accountabilities 

  • Maintain an accurate and up to date inventory of marketing materials, equipment, devices, branded items, event supplies, and fleet related assets. Track issuance, usage, returns, and replenishment of materials using approved systems (Excel, CRM, and/or shared drives).
     
  • Establish and maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent shortages or over ordering. Conduct monthly inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
     
  • Organize and maintain the physical storage room, ensuring materials, devices, and assets are stored in a clean, accessible, and clearly labeled manner.
     
  • Manage the lifecycle of company owned assets (distribution, labeling, tracking, repairs, disposal, and replacement).
     
  • Monitor condition and functionality of assets assigned to staff, fleet vehicles, and mobile units.
     
  • Ensure compliance with asset policies and hold staff accountable for returns and documentation.
     
  • Ensure all equipment and materials stored on-site are properly shelved, secured, and accounted for, with a layout that supports fast retrieval and efficient distribution.
     
  • Provide timely fulfillment of material and equipment requests for new hires, events, field deployments, and marketplace initiatives.
     
  • Coordinate with Fleet Operations, Community Engagement, and Marketplace Sales leadership to support event launches, mobile office deployments, and product rollouts.
     
  • Maintain digital logs, forms, checklists, and receipts as proof of distribution and accountability.
     
  • Prepare weekly inventory status reports, usage trends, and reorder recommendations.
     
  • Maintain shared drive organization for documents related to inventory tracking, asset lists, and audit logs.
     
  • Input and update reports where inventory assets intersect with staff assignments, events, or marketplace activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

     

  • 2 – 3+ years of relevant, professional work experience.
     
  • 1 – 2+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, operations support, or asset management.
     
  • Additional experience/specialized training/certification may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
     
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) for tracking, reporting, and documentation.
     
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms to manage asset assignments, data entry, and tracking activities.
     
  • Ability to track multiple asset types with accuracy and urgency.
     
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
     
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
     
  • Must be physically present at work location as needed to fulfill inventory management responsibilities.
     
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with internal teams and vendors.
     
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as needed (up to 30 lbs.).
