Location: Facilities Operations
55 Water Street

Hours: Monday-Friday
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Description of Duties:
  • Respond daily to a high volume of service calls from EmblemHealth corporate and ACPNY medical locations
  • Enter service calls utilizing FSD software ensuring proper routing to assigned EmblemHealth Project Manager and/or vendor 
  • Contact 3rd party vendors as required/directed by PM in order to resolve issue(s) with proper follow up to ensure completion or additional services required
  • Track, log, and process Facilities Operations related invoices via Emblem Health systems (PS, Coupa, or Oracle)
  • Maintain and update vendors contact list
  • Maintain ACPNY administrators contact list and medical center HOO including holiday HOO (hours of operations) 
  • Update and distribute the Service Call Manual for department use
  • Type departmental correspondence
  • Copy blueprints on engineering plotter
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business and professional services; preferably in the field studies of Facilities, Real Estate, and/or Hospitality Services
  • Five years of previous proven administrative experience preferably in a facilities or real estate management environment
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and writing
  • Common knowledge of building systems and operations
  • Common knowledge of construction terminology, i.e.; electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, general construction services, etc.  Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook Mail, Excel, Word. Including but not limited to, People Soft, Oracle, and Coupa
  • Ability to learn proprietary Facilities Operations – Facilities Service Desk software within two weeks of start 
  • Ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute

  • Microsoft Outlook (Intermediate)
