Responsible for overall broker distribution enablement, sales forecasting and planning, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, broker compensation/ Licensee and appointment, reporting and analytics, sales process optimization, end to end process improvement, learning and performance, Salesforce CRM optimization and internal and external event management.

Responsibilities:
  • Prioritizes investments in enabling technology to support sales organization productivity including but not limited to Salesforce.
  • Ensures sales reports and other intelligence is provided to the sales organization and develops new reporting tools and dashboards needed for measurement.
  • Designs, implements, and manages sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting used by the sales organization. Ensures planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes.
  • Makes recommendations for changing sales roles, coverage models, or team configurations to maximize sales productivity.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the sales organization, and counsel to the Senior Vice President of Sales, in implementing sales organization objectives that reflect overall business objectives.
  • Works closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs to ensure sales organization success
  • Partners with sales and account management leadership to identify opportunities for sales and account management process improvement. 
  • Responsible for the Broker Services team and to continuously work on optimizing Broker/GA distribution channels.
  • Drives the proposal writer team to ensure timely, accurate and appropriate submissions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required
  • 5-7 years of management experience in a marketing service environment in the health insurance industry required
  • Valid Accident and Health and Life license required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral required
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft portfolio of products required
