Director, Pharmacy Utilization Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related; Master’s preferred
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or B.S. Pharmacy
- 10+ years of relevant experience in positions of progressively increasing scope/complexity required
- At least five years of pharmacy experience in a director level position or higher required
- At least 5 years of formulary, Utilization Management, or managed care experience required
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a clinically oriented pharmacy position required
- Experience overseeing Medicare, Commercial and Exchange lines of business required
- Must possess superior clinical knowledge base required
- Unrestricted license to practice in NY and other states as appropriate/needed, or able to obtain within 6 months required
- Computer proficiency in spreadsheet, data base, and word processing programs, such as MS Office and an ability to learn new programs quickly required
- Strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills required
