Support the attraction and recruitment of top talent by leading the development, coordination, and execution of the Talent Acquisition Brand strategy and further drive internal brand in support of the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and retention, enterprise wide.  Ensure consistency with Corporate Branding strategy for EmblemHealth Families (consisting of all corporate and subsidiary entities).  Lead efforts to positively influence perception of EmblemHealth as an employer of choice.  Report to the Chief Human Resources Officer; partner closely with Corporate Communications, Talent Acquisition, and Corporate Marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead EmblemHealth’s employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies in partnership with colleagues across the company.
  • Serve as a partner and work cross-functionally with corporate branding, internal communications, talent acquisition, engagement and culture colleagues.
  • Bring to life EmblemHealth’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) messaging in innovative and inspiring ways.
  • Create digital, social, video, events and traditional media initiatives to ensure recruitment marketing materials are engaging and relevant with a focus on impact and value.
  • Develop external messaging and partnerships that will enable and advance the company’s employer brand strategies and help tell the EmblemHealth story and EVP.
  • Determine optimal channels, messaging, social and brand strategy for targeted talent segments.
  • Ensure change management and proper rollout of recruitment marketing programming through detailed project management and communications.
  • Write and produce content for HR’s digital platforms, including drafting copy for email, social media, blog content, and video scripts .
  • Build out Career pages on owned digital assets (ex. EmblemHealth.com).
  • Respond to reviews on Glassdoor and other employer review sites.
  • Study and upgrade the end-to-end recruitment experience and identify new and differentiated ways of engaging and selling to candidates.
  • Consistently search for new opportunities to elevate our employer brand by researching and reviewing competitors and understanding industry best practices.
  • Manage HR recruitment and engagement efforts across digital platforms, including social media, recruitment sites and the company website(s).
  • Leverage best practices to implement digital recruiting and employee engagement strategies, including: Advertising on Glassdoor and LinkedIn, Proactively identifying niche sites for specific recruiting needs (e.g., Behance for graphic designer roles), Using digital to drive to recruitment events.
  • Produce reporting and analytics on HR digital platform engagement.
  • Track and monitor recruitment and retention trends and issues; work with senior management to provide insights and recommendations to minimize unwanted attrition.
  • Attend monthly Digital Editorial Board meetings led by EmblemHealth and AdvantageCare Physicians’ Social Media Team and proactively provide content to promote key HR initiatives across all platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related/equivalent field required, advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience required
  • 8+ years of employment branding and recruitment marketing experience required
  • 2+ years of building talent acquisition strategies, issue spotting and solving required
  • 2+ years employment branding: especially post-merger/acquisition/creation of enterprise required
  • Proven success and strategic experience engaging and building trust with partners required
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical required
  • Demonstrated aptitude of communicating clearly and effectively to upper management across all departments required
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills, including presentation and creative design required
  • Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills required
  • Must demonstrate EmblemHealth values and strong belief in the Company’s mission required
  • Ability to be agile and work in a fast paced, growing, changing environment required
  • Ability to think end to end for purposes of strengthening the employer branding throughout the lifecycle of the employee required
  • Ability to act as a change agent; to operate with urgency; and to challenge the status quo required
  • Strong team player, leader, self-starter and positive catalyst who can manage and motivate a direct or matrix team required
  • Detail orientation with strong organization and prioritization skills required
  • Familiarity with all marketing tactics as well as an ability to report out results and return on investments required
