Director, Corporate Insurance Risk Management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or related quantitative field of study.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Professionals credentials preferred.
- 10 – 12+ years of relevant professional work experience demonstrating growth in experience. (R)
- Demonstrated technical experience in corporate insurance risk management in multiple lines of coverage including directors and officers’ liability, errors and omissions liability, general liability, cyber, property. (R)
- Healthcare industry level knowledge. (P)
- Knowledge of insurance related concepts, processes, and regulations. (R)
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand broader business issues. (R)
- Ability to develop and interpret financial analyses. (R)
- Self-starter with ability to take initiative and perform research to identify, analyze, and recommend actionable solutions to issues. (R)
- Detail orientation, with the ability to “connect the dots” and see the “big picture” at the same time. (R)
- Excellent planning, organization, time management, prioritization, problem solving, and multitasking skills to accomplish deliverables on a timely basis. (R)
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal/relationship building) skills. (R)
- Effective team player with proven track record of collaboration and coordination with other business areas. (R)
- Strong leadership skills along with the ability to engage and inspire internal and cross functional teams. (R)
