Summary of Job

Support the execution of the joint venture partnership with UnitedHealthcare/UMR for the NYCE PPO.  Manage key documents and deliverables such as project plans and metrics dashboards in alignment with strategic objectives.  Document operational issues, provide appropriate follow-up, and track to completion in collaboration with leadership and subject matter experts.  Manage day-to-day partnership activities, requests, monitor performance metrics, and facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners.  Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and action plans to enhance client satisfaction and partnership outcomes.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and execute operational aspects of the JV with UnitedHealthcare, including tracking deliverables, preparing reports, and supporting contract implementation. 
  • Research, develop, implement, and monitor partnership performance metrics; prepare dashboard information, and flag trends or issues for leadership review. 
  • Provide recommendations for changes/improvements to projects/processes; collaborate on implementation of recommendations. 
  • Provide guidance for communication and collaboration among internal departments (Operations, IT, Finance) and with UnitedHealthcare counterparts. 
  • Identify “pain points” and impediments to project/process success; work with leadership and functional areas to ameliorate and mitigate identifies issues. 
  • Develop and execute action plans to resolve issues and maintain client satisfaction. 
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to determine success of changes or need for additional modifications; work with functional area to develop additional recommendations for product or service improvements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree  (Required); Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field  (Preferred) 
  • Master’s Degree  (Preferred) 
  • Project management certification (PMI) / Six Sigma or related certification/training  (Preferred)
  • 5 – 8+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in healthcare, insurance, or managing partnerships with large organizations  (Required) 
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale partnerships or projects  (Required) 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills; outstanding attention to detail  (Required)  
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audiences  (Required) 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams  (Required) 
  • Client-focused orientation and problem-solving skills  (Required) 
  • Experience in project management  (Required)  
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting  (Preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.  (Required)  
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with AI solutions (e.g., Co-Pilot) to enhance and expedite all deliverables  (Required)
