25 TEMPS - Customer Service Associate

25 Temp/Call Center positions to start on September 7, 2021 thru February 2022. The Health Enhancement Program (HEP) Customer Service Associate serves to provide world class customer service to participants of a Health Enhancement Program. 
Assignment Responsibilities
  • Receives and responds to telephone calls from participants of a Health Enhancement Program (HEP) regarding verification of status, eligibility and the necessary requirements and provides accurate information to participants in a manner that supports a world-class customer service environment. 
  • Skillfully acts as a customer advocate in providing assistance to resolve callers’ issues/ problems/questions. 
  • Appropriately process ALL form types including PNF’s, Chronics, Reinstatements and PHI’s
  • Monitor incoming fax lines, rename documents and add to appropriate folders for distribution. May also receive physical mail to scan, name and add to appropriate folders.
  • Developing expertise with understanding and communicating the employer group preventive and chronic requirements. 
  • Utilizes good judgment and discretion in referring cases to a Health Navigation Specialist and/or a Chronic Case Manager. 
  • Collaborates with the Health Care Management department to address participant issues. 
  • Documents calls properly and demonstrates competence and expertise in the use of Information Management Systems. 
  • Collaborates with Management to identify areas of participant dissatisfaction and trends concerning issues. 
  • Consistent achievement of performance goals and metrics as determined by management 
  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned. 
Assignment Qualifications
  • Post High School education/training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • At least 1 year of previous customer service experience in a medical office, sales/service or billing environment required; telephonic customer service experience preferred. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required. 
  • Previous system user experience in a highly automated environment required. Strong personal computer skills. 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills desirable. 
  • Excellent telephone manner; ability to handle high volume of calls efficiently and courteously. 
  • Ability to perform in office environment with extended periods of sitting, using telephone, viewing computer screens, standing, reaching, lifting files, binders, computer reports. 
  • Excel, Microsoft, Outlook highly preferred
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and written.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment. 
  • Sedentary physical requirements.
